This new app continue the story of the most popular Turn Off the Lights browser extension, and it is redesigned browser with a lamp button. When Windows RT is available, you can use this special app to control the web in a dark environment. Just like in the browser extension you can dim the page and focus the video. And there is also an option to enable the Atmosphere Ligting effect for your YouTube and HTML5 video.
Just when you finish to install the app, it show you the black block in you start menu page. Click on it, to open the app. And browse the web.
In the option flyout you can change the default black overlay color to you own custom color.
Even you can change the opacity of that layer, to a lower or higher value.
When you enable the "Fade In" and "Fade Out" effect, it will give you a smooth effect of dimming the page.
In the option flyout you can change the default home page to your own favorite site.
You can disable the color effect around the video player with one slide in the setting flyout. And just like the "Turn Off the Lights" browser extension you can choose for one custom solid color or the real color from the video content. Default it's set to the one solid color color option.
Auto Flash Detection
This feature is always enable, it help to search and detect the HTML5 video. So it can focus well the video player.
In the setting flyout can you increase or decrease the blur of the ambient light effect.
And also this can be increase or decrease the sie of the ambient light effect in the setting flyout page.
Support HTML5 video
When the app detect a HTML5 video, it automatic bring that video to front of the dark layer.
It use the latest TOtL v2.1 rendering
And it use the IE 10 rendering
